THUMBS UP: The Lombard Village Board recently decided to honor long-time public works employee Keith Surges by renaming the planned Garfield Maintenance Facility to "Keith J. Surges Center." Surges worked in the department for 37 years, most recently as superintendent, before retiring in 2011. Thanks for your many years of service.
