THUMBS UP: The Cupid's Kisses charity event Saturday in Elmhurst will benefit a Bensenville family whose 15-month-old son, Abel Naranjo, was born with osteogenesis imperfecta, more commonly called brittle bones. For more information about the event, visit www.miraclesfrommia.org.

THUMBS UP: The Addison Trail winter musical opened this week and continues through Saturday. "Once on This Island" tells the story of a peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy and must face issues of prejudice, hatred and death.
