Bolingbrook's WeatherTech gets air time during Super Bowl

In-between commercials of Clydesdales, beer, celebrity gags and the occasional tearjerker, a Bolingbrook company will take to the airwaves during the Super Bowl, according to a news release from WeatherTech.

The commercial, titled "You Can't Do That," will air during the second quarter during the Feb. 2 game. WeatherTech will be advertising their laser-measured FloorLiners product to go along with all the car advertisements, the release said.

Founder and CO David MacNeil said that buying a commercial during the Super Bowl had been a goal for three years.

"Our 'You Can't Do That' commercial is meant to evoke a strong reaction from the viewer on our commitment to produce the best automotive products on American made machines with domestically sourced raw materials manufactured by American workers right here in Bolingbrook, Illinois," MacNeil said in a statement.
