Woodridge Junior Woman's Club offers scholarship for college-bound seniors

WOODRIDGE – The Woodridge Junior Woman's Club is offering college bound students a scholarship opportunity.

The scholarship will recognize local high school seniors for scholastic achievement and contributions through community service. The one-time grant is worth $500 and payable to the school after proof of enrollment.

Applicants must be high school seniors who reside in Woodridge, have two written recommendation letters, attach high school transcripts. Seniors must also have maintained a C average through high school. Chosen winners must provide proof of enrollment to a university, college, junior college or technical school within one calendar year of receiving the scholarship.

The deadline to apply is March 28 and winners will be announced this May. Applications, reference letters and transcripts should be mailed to Woodridge Junior Woman's Club, Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 5221, Woodridge, Il, 60517.
