CAROL STREAM – Carol Stream will hold its 15th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration at 7 p.m. Jan. 20 at Wheaton Christian Center, 610 E. North Ave., according to a news release from the village of Carol Stream.

The theme for the celebration is “'A Beloved Community:' Reconnecting to the Dream.”

The program will include performances by students from the Outreach Community Center and other local churches, as well as a keynote address from the founder and executive director of the nonprofit A Ray of Hope on Earth, Ray McElroy.

The organization's mission is to transform individuals, families and communities by sharing the significance of every life, the release said.
