NAPERVILLE – York grad and North Central senior golfer Mary Kate Rohn was named academic all-conference in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin for the fourth year in a row.

Rohn was also honored as NCC's female Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Award winner.

Each CCIW institution selects one male and one female Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Award winner each season. To be considered, student-athletes must have maintained at least a 3.50 grade-point average during the term in addition to their athletic credentials.

Rohn, a sport management major, became the second North Central player to win the individual title at the CCIW Women's Golf Championships on Oct. 5. The victory was one of two tournament wins for Rohn, who led the team in 18-hole stroke average (81.1) for the second straight year. She is a three-time National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-Scholar Team selection.
