Sweetheart Dance in Western Springs to benefit Children’s Medical Research Foundation

WESTERN SPRINGS – The 19th annual Sweetheart Dinner Dance to benefit the Western Springs-based Children’s Medical Research Foundation, Inc., will be held Feb. 14, in the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel, 120 East Delaware Place, Chicago.

The Valentine’s Day gala begins at 7 p.m. with a cocktail reception. A four-course dinner will be followed by dancing to the music of the Michael Lerich Orchestra, as well as a silent auction and a live auction of items including on-the-glass Blackhawks tickets.

Suggested attire for the event is black tie optional.

The Children’s Medical Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization inspired by Kirby Wilson of Western Springs.

Proceeds from the Sweetheart Dinner Dance will support medical research seeking a cure for Sanfilippo syndrome and will finance studies for the first human clinical trial scheduled this year.
