WinterFEST returns to Addison

ADDISON – The second annual WinterFEST will be held Jan. 19 at Community Park in Addison.

The fest features sledding, snow volleyball, snow golf, a family snowman-building contest, and s'mores roasting. Inside, families can decorate cookies or make crafts. There will also be a bounce house and obstacle course.

The Westernettes Baton Corps, Addison Park Dancers and Iron Fist Martial Arts group will all perform.

Family friendly activities will occur inside and outside, although outside activities are weather-dependent and may be modified based on snow availability.

The event is free to the public. It will be from noon to 3 p.m. Jan. 19 at Community Park. Bingo begins at 1:30 p.m., a snow volleyball tournament will be from noon to 2 p.m. and a crazy hat contest will be held at 2 p.m.
