The struggles continued for commuters Tuesday morning as weather conditions forced Metra to cancel more trains.

After shutting down dozens of trains Monday afternoon and evening, Metra canceled 14 inbound and outbound trains Tuesday morning on the BNSF line which has stops in towns like Naperville, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, La Grange, Brookfield and Berwyn, according to the Metra website.

Another three trains were canceled Tuesday for the Union Pacific West line which services West Chicago, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Villa Park and Elmhurst.

Other trains are operating on a modified schedule. Riders can check the Metra website for updates.
