STICKNEY – Ready, set, shave.

The Stickney-Forest View Public Library will host a head shaving fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s Foundation on March 15 at the library, 6800 W. 43rd St.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation raises money to fund childhood cancer research. Participants may also help by raising funds. Donations are accepted, too, in case a bald head is not in your future.

No one needs to shave their head if they don’t want to, said Danielle Taylor, head of youth services at the library.

Included in the lineup for those running the clippers is Stickney Mayor Debbie Morelli.

To learn more or to participate in the event, visit www.stbaldricks.org or call Taylor at 708-749-1050.
