Weather forecast calls for actual temperature of -17 for parts of Monday-Tuesday

DOWNERS GROVE – The snow storm is dominating headlines Thursday, but the temperature forecast for early next week will likely take the attention over the weekend.

The National Weather Service is predicting frigid temperatures Sunday night through Tuesday, with a projected high of -4 and a low of -17 over that span.

At least one area school district – Valley View 365U in Bolingbrook – has hinted at school closures for Monday, notifying parents that a final decision would be made Sunday night.
