BERWYN – The Moving Wall is coming to Berwyn’s Proksa Park from Aug. 7 through 11.

The half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., has been touring the country since 1984. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Moving Wall and 2015 will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Vietnam War ending.

This event will be free and open to all. Access to the Moving Wall will be available on a 24-hour basis at Proksa Park, 3001 Wisconsin Ave., in Berwyn.

The Berwyn Park District seeks monetary donations and volunteers to cover expenses.

To offer support, contact Reba Wachal at rwachal@berwynparks.org or 708-788-1701 or Hillary Fulara at hfulara@berwynparks.org or 708-795-2892.
