Glen Ellyn seeks submissions for photo contest

GLEN ELLYN – The village of Glen Ellyn is seeking photograph submissions for its fall 2013 photo contest from Glen Ellyn residents, students and workers.

The deadline to submit photos is Jan. 31. Photographers can submit up to five pictures.

Photos will be selected by a panel of judges to be used in various village publications based on subject, composition and ability to capture the "spirit of Glen Ellyn."

Submissions will be divided into two categories: youth (17 years old and younger) and adult (18 years old and older).

The contest will select 10 adult photos and five youth photos. Those chosen will receive a $20 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.

Interested parties should submit their photos to glenellynphoto@gmail.com and fill out the release form available at www.glenellyn.org/GE/Documents/Photo%20Release.pdf.

The form should be mailed to the Glen Ellyn Photo Contest, c/o John Norton, 535 Duane St., Glen Ellyn IL 60137, scanned and emailed to the photo contest email address, or faxed to 630-469-8849.
