Published: Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 6:00 a.m. CDT

New safety signs will be posted at main entry points of Glenbard Township High School District 87 buildings during winter break, according to a district news release.

The signs are part of the passage of the Firearm Concealed Carry Act, the release said. The state mandates safety signs be displayed at the entrances of “statutorily prohibited areas” such as schools, hospitals and stadiums.
