Pajama stories and Santa draw crowd at Brookfield library

BROOKFIELD – The Brookfield Public Library hosted its ninth annual Pajama Family Storytime Dec. 20.

The event featured holiday stories, crafts and snacks, along with a visit from Santa Claus, who made a special last-minute appearance at the library. During the event, Santa visited with families and heard requests for gifts like dolls, action figures, video games, books and even Band-Aids.

Santa also posed with kids before a spirited background designed to look like a big Christmas present, wrapped in green paper with white snowflakes.

The reading of holiday stories and Santa’s visit were followed by a holiday sing-a-long to conclude the event. All participating families went home with a special blend of reindeer feed for Christmas Eve to make sure Santa’s transportation team would be able to find their homes on Christmas.
