Lyons School Board seeking candidates for vacant position

LYONS – The Lyons Elementary School District 103 Board of Education is seeking candidates to fill a board member vacancy left by David DeLeshe, who resigned Dec. 16.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have lived in District 103 boundaries at least one year and be a registered voter. Interested candidates should send a letter of interest including their background and reasons for wanting to serve on the board to:

Letters must be received by 4:30 p.m. Jan. 10. The board will select candidates to interview and expects to fill the vacancy at its Jan. 27 meeting.
