WHEATON – Clare Woods Academy presented its 2013 Winter Concert on Dec. 19.

Students of all ages sang and played winter and holiday music, including "Ode to Joy," "Hot Chocolate," "Auld Lang Syne" and a Christmas medley. The concert also included the school's traditional Nativity Processional.

"I think the kids were really excited to show off the things they learned," said choir director Catie Alls. "All week, I was hearing 'When will the audience be here? When will the audience be here?' Coming from other schools, they're not used to being on stage and the star, so they were really looking forward to it."

The 2013 holiday concert was the school's first in Wheaton after Clare Woods moved to the area earlier this year from Bartlett.
