LEMONT – Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A will hold a public hearing on its proposed 2013 tax levy Tuesday and a Board of Education meeting Wednesday.

The board approved an eight percent tax levy increase during its Nov. 6 meeting. Because this is more than a five percent increase, the district is required by state law to hold a public hearing before approving the final levy to be sent to the Cook County Clerk.

The Wednesday board meeting will have a special start time of 5:30 p.m. It will be the board's last scheduled meeting of the calendar year.
