Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare system names vice presidents

ELMHURST – The health system created by the merger between Edward Hospital & Health Services and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital recently named two system vice presidents.

Bobbie Byrne, MD has been named System Vice President and Chief Information Officer and Bill Kottmann has been named System Vice President of Physician and Ambulatory Network Development.

Byrne serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics Physician Advisory Council for Informatics and is board certified in Pediatrics and Clinical Informatics. She is also responsible for the Facilities and Construction departments at Edward and the Edward Cancer Centers in Naperville and Plainfield.

Kottmann is a founding board member and past chairman of the Naperville Development Partnership and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has been with Edward since 1991 and in 2005 he was named president of Edward Health Ventures.
