WHEATON – Nearly 600 runners braved the cold at this year's Lions Club Reindeer Run 5K on Dec. 7 in downtown Wheaton.

Amanda Wendorff won the women's category and Daniel Woldesilossie won the men's.

Money raised at the event, held by the Wheaton Lions Club and the Wheaton Park District, was donated to help those with sight and hearing disabilities and to the DuPage County Museum.
