BERWYN –Deck the Depot, Berwyn’s annual holiday celebration, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Berwyn’s Depot District on Windsor and Stanley avenues, between Harlem and East avenues.

The opening ceremony will be at 5:15 p.m. at the Berwyn Train Depot at Windsor and Grove avenues, where Santa will arrive and later take gift requests and pose for photos at Bounce Sports.

Berwyn’s annual holiday walk through the Depot District will also feature live reindeer and a petting zoo at Municipal Parking Facility.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides or hayrides can be found at Windsor and Grove avenues throughout the evening.

A heated trolley will make stops at all the various Open House sites in the district and carolers will provide festive holiday music along the way.

Depot District merchants will be open late to offer complimentary treats and holiday specials.

A special drawing worth more than $200 is open for adults 21 and older who spend $10 in the Depot District and have their event passport “punched” by all of the participating open houses.

New, unwrapped toys for the Holiday Cheer Program in Berwyn and canned goods and or nonperishable food items for Berwyn food pantries can be dropped off at participating businesses with collection boxes throughout the evening.
