WOODRIDGE – The Village of Woodridge recently obtained a grant to complete a comprehensive storm sewer inventory.

The $75,000 grant, from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, allows the village to update existing utility atlases, and pipe materials and sizes, according to a release.

Surveying crews with Strand Associates, the village's consultant, will be working throughout the community during the several coming months. Crew members will have ID badges with them.

For more information on the grant, contact the Public Works Department at 630-719-4753.
