West Chicago library program brings reading material to youth correction center

WEST CHICAGO – West Chicago Public Library District Administrative Librarian Melody E. Coleman and staff member David Sampiller load 143 books, 232 magazines and more than 50 personal care items for delivery to the Illinois Youth Correction center (IYC) in Warrenville as part of the B.E.N.D. (Books Enlighten, Nourish and Delight) program, which provides the items to incarcerated juvenile females.
