More than 50 cartons of cigarettes taken in apparent business burglary

DOWNERS GROVE – Between 50 and 75 cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen in an apparent business burglary between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 26 and 5:10 a.m. Nov. 27.

A delivery man to the business in the 400 block of 75th Street allegedly discovered shattered glass in the front of the store and called 911 at 5:11 a.m. Nov. 27. Police found a brick in the back of the store that was possibly used to shatter the window and gain access to the store.

An employee told police between 50 and 75 cartons of Newport and Marlboro Menthols were missing.

There are no suspects.
