CAROL STREAM – The Glenbard North High School student council is collecting new, unwrapped toys through Dec. 12 as part of the Humanitarian Service Project's annual toy drive, according to a news release from Glenbard Township High School District 87.

The greatest need is toys for children ages 8 to 15 years old, such as board games, picture frames, Lego sets, art supplies, electronic toys, action figures, jewelry and athletic equipment, the release said. Batteries should be included when appropriate and violent toys will not be accepted.
