Elmhurst police pull Addison man from pool

ELMHURST – Police pulled a 57-year-old Addison resident from a pool at Royal Oak Condominiums on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The man's father lives at Royal Oaks in the 100 block of West Butterfield Road. He called police when his son didn't surface from the pool where he was swimming, police said.

Police responded at 3 p.m. and pulled the man from the pool. He had a pulse at the time and was transported to an area hospital, police said.

His condition was not known Monday morning, police said.
