WOODRIDGE – The death of a Lisle man is now being investigated as a possible homicide, according to DuPage County Chief Deputy Coroner Charlie Dastych.

The skeletal remains of Anthony Scott Arcaro, 37, were found at about 1:30 p.m. March 30 by two young boys walking through a wooded area in the 7900 block of Lemont Road in Woodridge.

Arcaro was shot in the head, according to State's attorney spokesman, Paul Darrah, who said he could not share any more information.

Woodridge Deputy Chief Tom Stefanson said police have "some avenues we're investigating," but also would not comment further.

Prior to March, Arcaro had been missing since 2007.

It is unclear if Arcaro's death occurred in Woodridge.
