IC Catholic’s boys basketball team made it to the championship game of the Westminster Thanksgiving tournament, but lost to St. Edward 60-57.

The same two teams met in the final of the same tournament a year ago, and the Green Wave won that game, as well.

Rhashaun Epting led the Knights with 17 points against St. Edward. Clark Brinkman scored 14 and Anthony Taylor added 12. Epting and Brinkman were both all-tournament picks for the Knights, which defeated Luther North, Faith Lutheran and Indian Creek in pool play.

The Knights play on the road tonight at 6:30 p.m. against Marian Central Catholic and tomorrow at 3 p.m. against Somonauk at the Amboy Shootout.
