Joe Cantore files petitions for DuPage Forest Preserve District president

OAK BROOK – Joe Cantore, Forest Preserve District 2 commissioner, filed his petitions Monday for election to the office of president of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.

He was first elected as commissioner in 2002 and his current district includes Oakbrook Terrace, Oak Brook, Elmhurst, Villa Park, Lombard, Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Glen Ellyn, Downers Grove, Westmont, Woodridge and Lisle. Cantore announced his bid for election on Aug. 23.

Cantore lives in Oak Brook with his wife and son and works in Elmhurst. He has lived and worked his entire life in DuPage County, according to a news release.
