GLENDALE HEIGHTS – A Glendale Heights man faces felony charges after he was reportedly involved in an early morning stabbing, according to a news release from the Glendale Heights Police Department.
Steven Boyd, 22, of Glendale Heights, is charged with aggravated battery of great bodily harm, the release said.
Police responded at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 23 to the 2300 block of Century Point Lane in response to reports of a stabbing, according to the release.
When they arrived, first responders found an adult man who had been stabbed and who identified Boyd as his attacker, the release said. The man was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Boyd arrived at Glen Oaks Medical Center at about 3:30 a.m. seeking treatment for injuries reportedly sustained during the incident, according to the release.
After being treated, Boyd was arrested, brought to the Glendale Heights Police Station and charged, the release said.
He was then transported to DuPage County Jail, where his bond was set at $250,000, according to the release.
If sentenced, he could serve as many as two to five years in prison, the release said.
