Antique appraiser to visit library

STICKNEY – That painting you picked up from a flea market a few years back and have since stored up in the attic may be worth millions – but don’t call the boss a bum and walk out just yet.

Find out just how much it’s worth from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 14, at the Stickney-Forest View Public Library, 6800 W. 43rd St., Stickney

Antiques Expert Mark Moran will be back at the library for an antique and collectibles appraisal event.

Moran, a former senior editor of Antiques and Collectibles Books and contributing editor for Antique Trader magazine, has also been a guest expert on the hit PBS series “Antiques Roadshow.”

Moran is also the author or co-author of more than 25 books on antiques and collectibles, including the 800-page annual Warman’s Antiques & Collectibles, now in its 45th edition.

Registration is limited to one item per person.
