Father Denis Condon, pastor at St. Louise de Marillac Parish in La Grange Park, gathered with the entire school on Nov. 25 to bless the donations and those traveling to Washington, Ill. to deliver the donations to victims of the Nov. 17 tornadoes. The parish and other area churches and community groups rallied to collect bottled water, blankets and other items needed by the residents of Washington.
