A very Ready Teddy Thanksgiving

LA GRANGE PARK – The 4-and 5-year-old classes at Ready Teddy Preschool participated in a Feast Day Nov. 21 at the La Grange Park Recreation Center.

The students acted out a story they prepared called “Stone Soup” – a tale of sharing and thankfulness. Following the story, each class prepared a pot of soup and cooked corn bread and pudding for their early Thanksgiving feast.

Students also wore pioneer costumes they made and put on presentations of other pioneer clothing and artifacts.

The event was held in conjunction with the Community Park District of La Grange Park.
