HINSDALE

Theft reported

A known suspect and former employee is alleged to have stolen cash from a business during the time frame of her employment between 10 a.m. June 22 and 10 a.m. Sept. 14 (reported Nov. 12) at Your Natural Element Day Spa, 49 S. Washington Ave.

Burglary reported

• Someone entered a victim's vehicle and went through his belongings between 8 p.m. Nov. 11 and 5:10 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 5500 block of South Madison Street. Nothing was reported missing from the car.

• Someone entered a victim's vehicle and stole music equipment, a GPS, sunglasses, an iPad and an iPod between 9 p.m. Nov. 11 and 4 p.m. Nov. 12 in the 5500 block of South Madison Street. There were no signs of forced entry.

Possession charged

A 17-year-old male juvenile from Palos Hills was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:38 p.m. Nov. 15 in the 700 block of North York Road.

DARIEN

Five charged with theft

A 16-year-old female from Westmont, a 17-year-old female from Bolingbrook, a 17-year-old female from Woodridge, a 16-year-old female from Downers Grove and a 16-year-old female from Downers Grove were charged with retail theft Nov. 7 at Walmart, 2189 75th St.

Theft reported

A cell phone was taken from an unlocked locker Nov. 9 at XSport Fitness, 7511 Lemont Road.

Property damage reported

• A vehicle window was shattered while parked Nov. 9 in the driveway in the 800 block of Belair Drive.

• A truck was damaged by a pumpkin Nov. 11 while parked in the street in the 400 block of Maple Avenue.

Criminal damage charged

Tristesse Ayers, 25, 1442 S. Harding Ave., Chicago, was charged with criminal damage to property Nov. 10 in the 8900 block of Lemont Road.
