Published: Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 3:05 p.m. CDT

CICERO – In an effort to help victims of last weekend's devastating tornadoes, the town of Cicero will be doing its part to ensure that families impacted by the storm can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

Residents who want to participate in the Cicero Food Drive for Tornado Victims are asked to drop off nonperishable food items only at the new Community Outreach Building, 6019 W. 26th St.

Residents can drop off items from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday. Residents are also encouraged to consider donating baby food, formula or diapers.

Any questions can be directed to the New Cicero Resource Center at 708-863-7232, or by emailing Luis Duarte at lduarte@thetownofcicero.com.
