Man found dead on front lawn of West Chicago home

WEST CHICAGO – The West Chicago Police Department is investigating the death of a 22-year-old man found Sunday morning in the 600 block of South Neltnor Boulevard, according to a city news release.

At about 6:45 a.m., police officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person in the front yard of a residence, the release said.

Police are being assisted in the death investigation by the DuPage County Major Crimes Task Force and the DuPage County State's Attorney’s Office, according to the release.

The death appears to be an isolated incident and it is believed that there is no threat to the public, the release said.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional details are being released at this time, according to officials.
