World's Biggest Laundromat wins Green-T Award

BERWYN – Tom Benson, owner of the World's Largest Laundromat, 6246 W. Cermak Road, Berwyn, was the recent recpiant of a Green-T Award, presented by USAgain president and CEO Mattias Wallander.

The award seeks to recognize and positively reinforce individuals and organizations that support recycling and sustainability in Illinois. World’s Largest Laundromat has recycled over 3,000 pounds of clothing, shoes and other textiles since July 2013.
