HINSDALE – Union Church will host a concert to benefit The Rev. Dr. Julie Ruth Harley at 5 p.m. Dec. 15.

After Harley left the church, she became the senior pastor at the First United Church in Oak Park before being diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease, a year ago. She now needs 24 hour care and has five caregivers, according to a news release from the church.

The Joyful Noise Band will perform and all proceeds from the concert will go to Harley directly. A free will offering will be taken during the concert.

Union Church is located at 137 S. Garfield Ave. For more information, call 630-323-4303.
