Ken Grunke named head of West Suburban Chamber

HODGKINS – Former Aging Care Connections administrator Ken Grunke has been hired as the new executive director for the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Brookfield resident, who will start his new position Jan. 6, had been Aging Care’s director of philanthropy and external affairs since September 2009. Grunke previously worked for Pillars and is president-elect for the Rotary Club of La Grange. He is a past finalist for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Chicago’s Professional of the Year award. 

Grunke will be formally introduced Dec. 4 at the chamber’s annual Holiday Luncheon at La Grange Country Club. Tickets are available by calling 708-387-7550, or by contacting Katherine Leibforth at katherinel@wscci.org. The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
