Westmont sixth graders take third at math competition

WESTMONT – At Montini Catholic High School's 27th Annual Mathematics Contest, 15 students from Westmont Junior High School competed against 34 other middle schools from the area.

The sixth grade team took third place. Team members include Mia Brown, Griffin Chapman, Nick Charlton, Trisha Cueto and Emily Czaplewski. Cueto also went home with third place in the individual competition.

Seventh grade students who competed include Ben Boxell, Mollie Johnson, Matt O'Leary, Michael Thompson and Saleena El Zakhem.

The school's eighth grade class was represented by Claire Chmielewski, Macey Chapman, Justin Gomez, Dan Hletko and Ben Ledwon.
