DOWNERS GROVE – Students duct taped their teacher to the wall on Friday in a creative fundraiser at Henry Puffer School.

During lunch at the school, 2220 Haddow Ave., students bought pieces of duct tape that they used to stick kindergarten teacher Carolyn Murphy to the wall.

A single piece cost $1 and six pieces cost $5.

The event raised about $450, and proceeds will go toward buying gift cards to accompany Thanksgiving baskets for local families.
