West Chicago students celebrate Veterans Day

WEST CHICAGO – Gary Elementary School in West Chicago celebrated Veterans Day Nov. 11 with a visit from veterans, who came to classes to share their experiences and participated in an assembly with students that included a sing-along with military anthems and partiotic songs.

Fifth graders presented a "Living History Museum" in which they portrayed famous figures who were part of major U.S. wars.
