License violation

Christopher Box, 54, of 5521 King Arthur Court #6, was charged with driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop in the 5800 block of South Cass Avenue at about 5:20 p.m. Nov. 5. He was also cited for expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Battery charges

Donald Sickmier, 35, of 205 Raynor Ave. #1, Joliet, was charged with domestic battery after he struck a family member with a bottle in the 0-100 block of West 60th Street at about 1:40 p.m. Thursday.

Thefts reported

• Sometime between 3:20 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Nov. 5, cash was reported stolen from a business in the 0-100 block of East Ogden Avenue. The total loss is $150.

• Sometime between 10 a.m. Nov. 3 and 4 p.m. Thursday, jewelry was reported stolen in the 700 block of Fairmont Court. The total loss is $1,000.
