CAROL STREAM - Glenbard North couldn't overcome six turnovers as the Panthers fell 20-16 to Stevenson in the second round of the Class 8A playoffs Saturday.

The squad ended the season with a 9-2 record.

A 75-yard punt return for a touchdown by Cameron Green which came with 4:53 left in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner.

Glenbard North had three more possessions but two ended with an interception.

The Panthers trailed 7-0 at the outset as Stevenson took the opening drive 80 yards for a score. But Justin Jackson answered two plays later with a 56-yard touchdown run.

Jackson added a 47-yard scoring run late in the first quarter to give Glenbard North a 14-7 lead. The score remained that way until the third quarter, when the visitors capitalized on a Panthers' turnover and scored on a short run.

Glenbard North retook the lead at 16-14 on a safety early in the fourth quarter.

Jackson finished with 282 yards on 38 carries but 204 of those yards came in the first half.
