West Chicago library to share holiday cheer at annual open house

WEST CHICAGO – The West Chicago Public Library District will share the holiday spirit at its annual open house Dec. 7.

The event will take place from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. and will feature local high school choirs, holiday refreshments and the unveiling of the library's history exhibit, marking the 20th anniversary of its current building.

A special visit from Santa Claus also will be part of the open house.

The event will take place before the West Chicago Frosty Fest, which begins at 4 p.m.
