West Chicago Community High School to present 'Wait Until Dark'

Published: Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 12:28 p.m. CDT

WEST CHICAGO – Wego Drama at Community High School in West Chicago will present the thriller "Wait Until Dark" Nov. 21 through 23.

The show takes place in the 1990s in New York City as three con men target a recently blinded woman whom they think will be easy to trick, as they search for a mysterious doll.

The woman is more capable than the men expect, leading to a violent conflict.

The show is different from past Community High School productions, Wego Drama students said in a school news release, but it fits into this season's theme of “See ... Think ... Act ... Differently.”

Performances will be at 7 p.m. at Community High School, 326 Joliet St. in West Chicago.

Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.
