Letter: Obamacare, a response to a response
To the Editor:
If you ever want to know what a communist is up too, just look at what they are accusing their opponent of.
This is a letter of response to Walt Zlotow's letter, “Responding to Roskam on Obamacare,” which ran in the Oct. 10, 2013 issue of Suburban Life.
Mr. Zlotow states the first big lie that, “the IRS closely scrutinized tax exempt requests of both conservative and progressive political organizations.”
There were six so called “progressive” organizations and more than 100 Tea Party organizations. Then he states “no organization lost its tax exempt status.” The IRS never gave them a tax exempt status! The hundreds of tea party organizations were not allowed to collect money or oppose the administration in the election. That is why you never heard anything from them in the election.
Mr. Zlotow wasn’t done. He had the nerve of calling our health care system, “the most inefficient health care system in the industrialized world.”
You’re about ready to get the most expensive and inefficient health care system in the industrialized world, all thanks to Obama and the Democrats. That isn’t all. Now that the working stiffs are paying for 26-year-old “children,” there will be death panels and a czar will decide who gets benefits. Hurry up and join the communist or sorry Democrat party, maybe you will get help. So many problems, there is not enough room to explain them all.
Lastly, Mr. Zlotow (and all of the media, mind you) say, “it’s the law of the land.”
I am so sick of hearing that line of trash. Prohibition was the law of the land! Are we still stuck with that? This is a tax, a government takeover and really there is no way we are ever going to pay for it. Let’s just hurry up and turn the country into Detroit and then just start over. Either way you’re going to be working for next to nothing, jobless, in debt, broke and, of course, miserable, but what the heck, it’s “the law of the land!”
What Democrats want, Democrats get!
