Glen Ellyn native's law firm announces new hire

GLEN ELLYN – Keating Law Offices in Chicago, founded by Glen Ellyn native Mike Keating in 2008, has announced the expansion of the personal injury law firm with the hiring of a top plaintiff's lawyer.

With the addition of Alexander Loftus, the firm now has three attorneys and a large support staff. Recent additions have been made to respond to a growing client base, according to a firm news release.

The mission of Keating Law Offices is to represent individuals and families whose lives have been affected due to the negligence of others, according to the release. Keating has successfully settled or tried hundreds of personal injury lawsuits, the release said.

Loftus has resolved a wide range of cases through mediation, arbitration and trial, including several in excess of $1 million, according to the release. In 2013, he was named a “Rising Star” and included in the "Top 40 Trial Lawyers under 40" and the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Illinois" by the National Trial Lawyers Association, the release said.
