BOLINGBROOK – Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital and the Lemont Chamber of Commerce will partner this November to offer area women an evening of shopping, spa treatments, health and wellness.

“Celebrating Women … Beauty and Health” will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Club, 1 Pete Dye Drive in Lemont.

Dr. Buthaina Jabir will speak on nutrition and health from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Jabir is a board certified in obstetrician/gynecologist and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. “Proper nutrition is so important to overall wellness,” Jabir said. “And eating well is not overly difficult.

With just a little bit of planning, healthy eating can be both beneficial and delicious.”

Registration is $25 in advance and $30 at the door the evening of the event. To register, contact the Lemont Chamber of Commerce at 630-257-5997.

You can also register online by visiting and clicking on “Education & Events.”
