A number of area boys soccer players had standout seasons. Addison Trail won its own tournament at the state of the year and was third in the West Suburban Gold. Montini won its first ever regional. Timothy Christian won a sectional title in Class 1A. Players from those teams as well as Glenbard East, Willowbrook and York comprise the 2013 Suburban Life East all-area boys soccer team.
